Scorpio rules the 10th House
SCORPIO the WATER Sign is the ruler of the 10th House in the LEO - 1st House system. SCORPIO is ruled by MARS.
Many ASTROLOGERS use PLUTO as the ruler of SCORPIO but they are mathematically incorrect.The cusp of the 10th House is Square [90 degrees from] the ASCENDANT and called the Midheaven in some ASTROLOGY systems. Planets on the cusp of the 10th House in a Horoscope will create challenges for the native of that chart, be they early in life or later on in adulthood.
In the ARIES - 1st House system the 10th House is associated with Capricorn and the establishment. But much of what is listed as 10th House attributes actually relates more to the support of an individual's Family than support of the establishment.
