Sagittarius rules the 9th House

In the LEO - 1st House system there are two Houses that have the same identical rulership as two Houses in the ARIES - 1st House system. The 9th House and the 3rd House are the identical in both House systems as are the "Elements", FIRE - 9th House and AIR - 3rd House.

SAGITTARIUS is correctly placed as the ruler of the 9th House in the ARIES - 1st House system but not for the right mathematical reason. The direction of the rotation around the ZODIAC of the ARIES - 1st House is incorrect. The HOUSES of ASTROLOGY count clockwise around the ZODIAC not in the counter-clockwise direction. SAGITTARIUS ends up the ruler of the 9th House in both House systems but for the wrong reasons it's the ruler of the 9th House in the ARIES - 1st House system. SAGITTARIUS and the 9th House are ruled by JUPITER, the largest planet in the solar system. JUPITER is so big it's almost another SUN. JUPITER also gives off more energy than it absorbs from the SUN. Io one of the 4 large moons of JUPITER, today, has lively volcanic activity and minute amounts of water vapor in a very weak atmosphere. Facts which were discovered by the space probe Voyager in it's fly-by of JUPITER during it's still on going journey out of our solar system. SAGITTARIANS and individuals that have their SUN on the cusp on the 9th House; are charismatic, highly energetic and in constant motion. These folks are also very social and some may even be socially sexual.

The 9th House is the House of higher education, foreign languages, long distance travel, international communications and spirituality. A lot of GURU's have several planets near the cusp of the 9th House.
