The Trine or 120-degree Aspect is a blend of the Astrological principles of Aries and Sagittarius (Fire), which are the same as the 5th and 9th House principles in pure mathematical Astrology.
Throughout history the Trine Aspect has always been thought of as being the best of all the Astrology Aspects. Trine's, it was thought by ancients symbolized artistry, creativity, inventiveness and leadership abilities in a native.
Pure mathematical Astrology thinks this is a good Aspect, too.
The Trine Aspect is the only Astrology Aspect that has two FIRE Sign associated with it. The FIRE principle being dynamic, energetic and creative and usually allows the natives that have them in their Horoscope to accomplish substantial goals with their Trines.
The FIRE principle is a Future oriented postulate, therefore it's nature is both adaptive and creative as well as being good at preparation for changes.
The only negative process every associated with Trine Aspects is that too many of them, Trine's in a Horoscope, makes a native "too smart" and most of the time very lazy. It seems that at an early age natives with lots of Trines usually figure out their abilities are superior to most other peoples and are quite likely to let their life expand for them with the ease they are used to. Because of this ease with which their life comes, these natives don't seem to prosper as well as others. Trines make life comfortable for these natives early on instead of giving them challenges and the desire needed to succeed.
